There is no minimum or maximum length of stay at Sea Lion Lodge – with the abundance of wildlife it is recommended that you give yourself the maximum length of stay possible as local FIGAS flights are not fixed and can arrive at any time of day.
Sea Lion Lodge can accommodate up to 20 persons and group discounts are available. Prices include full board at the lodge. Last minute bookings can be made within 7 days of arrival dependent on availability at the Lodge. It is recommended to book well in advance to secure rooms during the peak season.
Single occupancy of a double/twin will be charged at an additional rate of £60 per person per night throughout season.
The 2023/24 prices reflects the on-going global cost increases and subsequently our operational costs.
Prices for 2023/24 season are per person per night with full board.

Any nights cancelled due to delays on international flights will charged at full rate.
No cancellation fee will be charged if FIG Covid travel restrictions are put in place.
Any extra nights stays for whatever reason will be charged at our last-minute booking rate.
Camping is not allowed on Sea lion island.

Power adapter – our power outlets are 3 pin (same as UK).
Weather can be variable in summertime, so bring a range of warm and waterproof clothes to warm day clothes.

**** High Alert of Avian Influenza****
Highly pathogenic avian influenza has been detected in northern Chile as well as being widespread in Europe and North America.
You must make sure your footwear, equipment and outer clothes have thoroughly been cleaned of mud and debris before arriving into the Falkland Islands, especially if you are arriving from another wildlife site or a farm.
On arrival at Sea Lion Island you will be required to use a disinfectant footbath for outdoor boots.

The season currently runs from 1st October to the 31st March. Direct flights can be arranged to fly via the MOD from Oxfordshire in England and with LATAM via Santiago, Chile.
