There is no minimum or maximum length of stay at Sea Lion Lodge – with the abundance of wildlife it is recommended that you give yourself the maximum length of stay possible as local FIGAS flights are not fixed and can arrive at any time of day, therefore we do not recommend one-night stays.

Sea Lion Lodge accommodates 20 people with twin, double and single rooms available. Prices are full board with all meals provided. Last minute bookings are dependent on availability at the Lodge. It is recommended to book well in advance to secure rooms during the peak season.

Single occupancy of a double/twin will be charged at an additional rate of £80 per person per night throughout season.

The 2025/26 prices reflects the on-going global cost increases and subsequently our operational costs.

Prices for 2025/26 season are per person per night with full board.

Island Introduction Tour or Drop-off in 4X4 vehicle
£50 per person. An introductory tour of the island.

Tour Leader Discount (groups travelling with recognised tour companies).
8 + guests plus leader (2 nights +) = 100%
6 – 7 guests plus leader (2 nights) = 50%, (3+ nights) = 100%
2 -5 guests plus leader (2 nights +) = 50%

Cancellation policy
6 weeks before arrival – 50%
1 month before arrival – 75%
3 weeks before arrival – 80%
2 weeks or less before arrival – 100%

Any nights cancelled due to delays on international flights will charged at full rate.

No cancellation fee will be charged if Falkland Islands Government restrictions are put in place.

Any extra nights stays for whatever reason will be charged at our last-minute booking rate.

Camping is not allowed on Sea lion island.

Useful information and what to bring with you.

Please bring a reusable water bottle with you to help reduce single-use plastic. We do not sell bottled water.

Power adapter – our power outlets are 3 pin (same as UK).
Weather can be variable in summertime, so bring a range of warm and waterproof clothes to warm day clothes.

Help us protect nature with good biosecurity preparation.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (H5N1) was detected in the Falkland Islands in 2024 and 2025.

You must make sure your footwear, equipment and outer clothes have thoroughly been cleaned of mud and debris before arriving into the Falkland Islands, especially if you are arriving from another wildlife site or a farm.

On arrival at Sea Lion Island you will be required to use a disinfectant footbath for outdoor boots and will be briefed on our biosecurity policies.
